Only eight words put W first and M third, and two of them are among the most common nouns in English.
They differ in the fourth box only and both are everyday words, which makes them the whole practical page. O takes the second box in four of the eight and A takes two.
WOMBS is the third word most people would recognise. WOMBY, WAMES and WAMUS are valid entries and none of them is vocabulary you carry.
S closes four of the eight, fifty percent, and N takes two. Between them that is every word on the page except one.
So the practical route is short. If the last box is N you are choosing between WOMAN and WOMEN and the fourth letter decides.
If it is S, WOMBS is the likeliest answer with WAMES and WAMUS behind it. Nothing here repeats a letter.
Only the fourth box separates them. If your puzzle has that letter confirmed the answer is immediate, and if not, neither guess is better than the other.
