One hundred fifty words begin with J, and very few of them are words you would ever produce.
A takes the second box in thirty nine of the one hundred fifty, O in thirty three, U in thirty one, E in twenty six and I in twenty. Only six letters appear there at all.
The branches look healthy but most of what fills them is borrowed or obscure. JAGIR, JAUPS, JEMBE and JATOS are valid entries nobody would reach for.
JUICE, JUDGE, JOINT, JEANS and JOLLY are the entries most likely to be wanted, with JUMPS, JEWEL and JOKER behind them.

It is among the best. It tests the U branch and the E fourth box, both of which carry real weight here.

Twenty five, which is seventeen percent. JOLLY, JELLY and JAZZY are the ones you would think of.
