Ten words put G first and D third, and most are entries you would only meet in a dictionary. GODLY and GIDDY are the exceptions.
A takes the second box in six of the ten, sixty percent, and almost all of that branch is obscure. GADDI, GADES, GADGE, GADID, GADIS and GADSO are all real entries and none is a word you would use.
O takes two words and I takes one, and between those tiny branches sit the only two words here in ordinary use. GODLY and GIDDY are what this page is realistically about.
GIDDY also repeats a letter, one of two on the page. If your puzzle shows a double, GIDDY is the first thing to try.
S closes three of the ten and Y another two. With a Y confirmed you are down to GODLY and GIDDY immediately.
That is the whole strategy here. Test for Y, and if it is not there, accept that the answer is probably a word you have never seen.
Both are ordinary words and they differ in three boxes, so as a pair they narrow well. Guess either one first.
A cushioned seat or throne. It is one of the six words in the A branch and it doubles the D.
It holds six entries and not one is in general use. The count makes the page look bigger than it plays.
